Hello there!

Welcome to Oyster & Earth – I am so grateful for your visit.

My name is Julia and I am a full time traveller & part time potter.

I created this website to showcase some of my pottery work, to share my travels with friends and family and to build connections in the editing, linguistics and publishing world as I hope to publish my memoir in the near future.

Oyster & Earth reflects my lived experience: a little chaotic, always grounded, embracing what life has to offer.

I have a deep love of languages, linguistics, writing, Waldorf eduction, pottery and somatic therapy which I aim to reflect in my art and writing.

I also love organising spaces, connecting with people all over the world and driving my beloved Pathfinder across the Australian outback and beyond.
